All Boulevard Gardening Club members are invited to a mushroom inoculation workshop hosted by Mr. Olen Poninski. Olen is a local community naturalist and gardener who has been foraging wild mushrooms for the majority of his life. He has been cultivating shiitake mushrooms for the last 15 years. The workshop will cover the basics of inoculation techniques. Each participant will have the opportunity to try out their incoluation skills and take home their own shiitake mushroom log along with an inoculation. The cost is $15 for members and $25 for non-members. You may pay at the door. The location is at the Athentic Brewing Company (108 Park Avenue, Athens, GA).
