Monarch Butterflies and how plants impact pollination in on our gardens. Our presenter, Ania Majewska, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia. Her passion and curiosity about nature led her to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Biology, a master’s in Wildlife Biology, and later a Ph.D. in Ecology. Her Ph.D. research focused on understanding how the decisions we make in gardens, in terms of plant selection and management, can benefit or harm insect pollinators. Additionally, she studied how non-native milkweeds impact monarch butterfly biology and the incidence of disease in monarchs.
